In order to keep you and our staff safe it is of vital importance to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
Below are some of the measures we have put in place at Boskerris:
NHS COVID-19 app - We recommend you download the NHS COVID-19 app.
Our QR code is displayed in the entrance and in other parts of the Hotel.
Pre-arrival Health Questionnaire - You will be asked to complete a pre-arrival health questionnaire and return it prior to arrival. Please complete one form per household.
CHECK IN / RECEPTION
Check in - To allow for additional cleaning, rooms will only be available from 3pm. However if you do arrive earlier then you may make use of our lounge / decking area etc.
Temperature checks - Your temperature will be taken at the hotel entrance and if your temperature is 38 degrees or above you, unfortunately, you will be declined entry and your deposit refunded or your stay re-scheduled.
Hand sanitising stations - These will be provided at the hotel entrance and the principal public areas. We encourage you to use these liberally.
Room key - Your sanitised key will be in your door on arrival.
Luggage - We are sorry we cannot help in taking your luggage to your room at this time.
Please note we are no longer accepting cash.
CLEANING & HYGIENE
We will be using Government approved chemicals to kill the virus. Enhanced cleaning programme in public areas with an increased frequency in disinfection of high touch areas. We will take care that this cleaning does not impact on your stay, but you will no doubt see the team in action from time to time.
We have cleaned your bedroom with extra care and sanitised it using an electrostatic sprayer. We have removed non-essential items to minimise any contamination risk. Housekeeping will be available on request only, please let reception know. Guests are to vacate and ventilate the room prior to housekeeping staff entering If you prefer to bring your own pillow please let us know. We will ensure the appropriate linen is in your room.
THE RESTAURANT, LOUNGE AND DECKING.
Face covering - All guests will need to wear a face covering in our public spaces. Our public spaces include corridors, lounge, bar, restaurant and reception area. Face coverings are not required when eating and drinking. However, once leaving your table for any reason, we ask that you pop your face covering back on until you get back to your room or back to the table. This does not apply when in any outdoor space or dining outside.
Social Distancing - Please respect the social distancing measures in place.
Dining - All menus are single use. Dining times will be staggered to keep contact to a minimum. There will be waitress service only in the dining room and the bar. Drink orders will be taken at your table, not at the bar. The bar will close at 11pm with last orders at 10pm. Tables have been rearranged to provide more space to comply with social distancing. We are only able to seat one household per table indoors, in accordance with government guidelines.
Please note we cannot provide a laundry service.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer our treatment service at this time.
This facility near Reception will not be available. Please use the toilet in your room.
Training - All staff will have received training as to how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 within the Hotel.
PPE - All staff will have access to PPE. Training will be provided on how to use it correctly.
Hygiene - Staff handwashing encouraged to be undertaken every 30 minutes as a minimum. Uniforms are cleaned between each shift.
Temperature checks - Staff will be temperature checked on arrival on each day. Any member displaying any of the government defined symptoms will be asked to stay at home, self-isolate and take a test. A negative test will be required before their return.
Sanitisation - Equipment utilised by staff is being sanitised regularly.
Access to back of house areas in the is hotel restricted to staff only. Supplies will be left outside the back entrance. Suppliers have been informed accordingly.
PROCEDURE/ GOVERNMENT UPDATES.
This is an ongoing situation. Any changes will be notified as and when they arise. If, prior to arrival at our hotel, you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you contact us, before leaving home, so that we can reschedule your stay. It is important to note, that for the safety of other guests and our team, any guest staying with us that displays symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be asked to seek medical attention. Should you be advised to self-isolate, we will request that you check out immediately and return home. We will refund the rest of your stay.
COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking within 72hrs of arrival due to COVID-19, we can transfer your booking to another suitable date, however rates may differ between dates. If, prior to arrival at our hotel, you have any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, or loss of taste and smell, we ask that you contact us, before leaving home, so that we can reschedule your stay. It is important to note, that for the safety of other guests and our team, any guest staying with us that displays symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be asked to seek medical attention. Should you be advised to self-isolate, we will request that you check out immediately and return home. You will be refunded the balance of your stay. If we are required to close due to COVID-19 bookings can be transferred or cancelled at no charge. A full refund is provided only if the reason for cancellation is COVID-19 related and providing that more than 72 hours notice is given.
Our main priority is keeping everybody safe so they can enjoy a relaxing stay. Hopefully you will not find any of the systems we have put in place detract from your holiday but give you peace of mind.
